Armenian-french business-club aims to strengthening business ties between two countries - club chairman

YEREVAN, October 7. /ARKA/. The goal of Armenian-French business-club is to strengthen cooperation between the businessmen of two countries, said Chairman of the club Arman Pinarbasi on Friday.

“Armenian-French business-club is open for all French businessmen which want to support the development of cooperation between two countries in business sphere”, said Pinarbasi in the central office of Orange Armenia.

In the central office of Orange Armenia met members of Armenian-French business-club with the Minister of Industry, Energy and Digital Economy of France Eric Beson and State Secretary of France Pierre Lellouche, who arrived in Yerevan with official delegation headed by the President of France Nocolas Sarkozy.

“We are grateful to member-companies of the business-club, including the company Orange, which from the very beginning supported the idea of the establishment of the club, and is one of its founders”, said Pinarbasi.

In its turn, President and General Director of the Group France Telecom (brand Orange) Stephane Richard who participated in the meeting said that he is very pleased with the fact of membership of Orange Armenia (“affiliate” France Telecom) in business-club.

“We hope that our contribution in the activity of the club and development of Armenian-French relations will be significant and productive”, said Richard.
Founders of Armenian-French business-club established with the support of French Embassy in Armenia in September 2011, are a group of French and Armenian businessmen, including Arman Pinarbasi (Grand Thornton), Stepan Gishyan (AGBA-Credit Agricole Bank), Patrick Laurent (“Armwatercanal”), Bruno Duthoit (Orange Armenia), Stepan Barakyan (Office Veritas), Fred Davlat (“Mother tongue”), Didier Gione (“Baghdasarov Crystal Group”).

Mission of the club is advancement, support and strengthening of positions of French business cooperation, economic-trade relations and scientific-technical exchange between Armenia and France. -0-
